Staying Fine With Age! Check out his fibre stats! Monty exhibits extreme presence and is a very proud boy. He has a nice temperament, good conformation and lovely silky fibre. We're thrilled to see that Monty's fleece is staying fine as he ages, he exhibits very little visible guard hair and he shears a very good production weight. Monty was awarded first in his class at the inaugural fleece show at Navan 2006 and his was the highest scoring fleece of the 44 entries! The same fleece was awarded first in a class of 8 at the Alpaca Canada inaugural fleece show in November 2006. In 2010 Monty was awarded High Scoring Brown in the Alpaca Ontario Spin-off, not bad for an old man of 6! Monty has been retired from the show ring for a while but is enjoying his career as one of our senior studs. Monty is a proven producer and has several champions to his credit including AGA Monty's Zooma, 3 times a champion at halter and fleece and 5 time champion AGA Justice! Monty is a solid uncontaminated brown and ideal for use in a coloured breeding program. He has thrown from fawn to black!
